Acoustic Anechoic Chambers

Anechoic chambers creates isolated test and measurement environment for sound measurements. Insulating the inner space from outside and avoiding the reflections on inner walls of a room are two fundamental functions of the anechoic chambers. Acoustic measurement require such an insulation and non-reflective space to comply product standards.

We are offering two kinds of anechoic chambers for acoustics

1) Anechoic chamber

2) Hemi-anechoic chamber

Our design and manufacturing partner for acoustic anechoic chambers is located in Japan. You can see detailed information about the acoustic anechoic chambers we offer below:

1) Anechoic chamber

Measurement objects: consumer electronics, compact driving components such as air-conditioner, fan,

items not to be placed to use on the floor

Applicable standard: ISO 3745 Acoustics – Determination of sound power levels and sound energy levels of noise sources using sound pressure – Precision methods for anechoic rooms and hemi-anechoic rooms

2) Hemi-anechoic chamber

Measurement objects: car, car parts, freezer, items to be placed to use on the road or floor

Applicable standards: ISO 3744 Acoustics – Determination of sound power levels of noise sources using sound pressure – Engineering method in an essentially free field over a reflecting plane, ISO 3745, etc.

Examples: Anechoic chamber / Hemi-anechoic chamber + auxiliary equipment

Chassis dynamometer, wind tunnel testing equipment, vibration testing machine, constant temperature and humidity control system, Various types of acoustic measurement equipment

Example: Hemi-anechoic chamber for vehicle sound measurement

Below hemi-anechoic chamber is for vehicle sound measurement with dimensions 9.5 meter width, 14.5 meter lenght and 6.3 meter height.
